This week, sales of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) decreased once further, falling to 9.91% below last week's totals. According to data, the most recent seven-day stretch from September 24 to October 1, 2023, had NFT sales totaling about $72,767,450.

While the cryptocurrency market has grown during the last week, sales of NFT have decreased for the sixth week in a row. The total NFT sales for the week were $72.76 million, which is 9.91% less than the week before. However, the number of NFT purchasers has increased 17.77% to 569,407 purchasers. Additionally, the number of NFT sellers has increased by 15.82% in the past week to 714,889 people.
With $37.27 million in sales over 22 networks, Ethereum emerged as the market leader in NFT sales across blockchains. This shows that the Ethereum blockchain was the source of a sizeable 51.22% of the week's NFT transactions. Despite being in the lead, ETH-focused NFT sales saw a minor decline, falling by 1.16% from the prior week.
Following suit, Mythos NFT sales took over second place with sales of $7.83 million, an encouraging increase of 13.12% from the previous week. This week, Polygon grabbed the third-place slot in NFT sales with a total of $7.12 million, while Solana claimed the fourth position with a respectable $5.86 million. Immutable X occupied the fifth spot from September 24 to October 1 and generated $5.47 million in sales.
With sales of $7.76 million this week, the Mythos-based Dmarket took home the trophy for the best NFT collection. Gods Unchained, a compilation produced by Immutable X, came in second place and earned a respectable $5.22 million. Draftkings, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), and Sorare followed the top two competitors in the seven-day sales race.
The focus of this week's most extravagant NFT acquisition was BAYC #591, which only five days prior sold for $177,710 on Opensea's marketplace. An NFT known as Ordinal Maxi Biz sold for $44,217 on Magic Eden's NFT market over on the Bitcoin blockchain. Following closely behind them were Solana's Boogle #066 ($40,503), BNB's Starcraft Planets ($32,544), and Cardano's Earth Node #268 ($32,100), which finished the high-value selling race.
